A restored Steinway, delivered

Dear Claire and Nikki, the lovely piano arrived safe and sound yesterday. I was able to play it for a bit yesterday. What an amazing instrument it is, I still can't believe it's mine. The Pianospeed team arrived right on time. They encountered some problems with getting the piano through both doors. They took both doors off, and had to remove half a door frame. They knew what they were doing every step of the way. They were incredibly polite, professional, and went way beyond the call of duty to get the piano in. It was almost two hours! Those guys were BRILLIANT. Once again, thank you both, and Steve and Alan, for all your help, it really is very much appreciated.

Sterling service is rare

As I've got older I've become quite a fussy buyer in life generally and always do a lot of research before a major purchase. I also expect high levels of expertise and service standards. I don't usually write reviews but feel this time I have to, as sterling service like this is rare. The Piano Gallery, and in particular Richard and Claire, could not do enough for me and my family. We booked two different showroom sessions for piano playing, testing, discussion and reflection, and they could not do enough for us. They were patient, not pushy in the slightest, very knowledgeable, and just let us try their vast range of pianos with no pressure. The minute we met them we wanted to buy our family piano from them; they are just so personable. Once we had agreed on the piano their service was equally good, with fast response times and a delivery team that keeps you appraised the whole way. I can honestly say that you won't find better or more personable service with any large purchase you make, let alone a piano. Their videography, and the calibre of pianist, is just stunning. Don't go anywhere else for your piano.
